2020 Toyota Highlander Redesign Changes

Both exterior and interior are aging. The new Toyota Highlander 2020 needs a lot of updates to be competitive with likes of Ford Explorer (new generation confirmed for 2020 with hybrid engine), and Honda Pilot (redesigned in 2019 with the hybrid model coming in 2020). To keep up the pace with these and other rivals, Toyota will overhaul both the cabin and the body.

To draw attention, the Japanese company will have to change the appearance of the new 2020 Toyota Highlander. Do not be surprised if the Highlander comes with Toyota sign on the grille instead of a badge. That is exactly what the upcoming Toyota Highlander 2020 needs.

As for the exterior, the interior of the 2020 Toyota Highlander needs a huge overhaul. Well, the current SUV is comfortable, safe, and fun to drive. The new model will add even more accessories.

That, designers, will change the look of the SUV. It still remains a three-row model. We expect from Toyota to extend the 2020 Highlander a little bit, not more than 3 inches.

Is 2020 Toyota Highlander Next Vehicle to Get a TRD Package?

The 2020 Toyota Highlander TRD Pro sounds nice. Even if Highlander gets TRD badge, it will be some lighter version than Pro. A TRD Sport we can see on some other SUVs is more suitable for the upcoming Toyota Highlander 2020.

Release Date of The Upcoming Toyota Highlander 2020

It seems like the Japanese company is preparing an early debut for the new 2020 Toyota Highlander. Most experts doubt the SUV will be ready by then. Fans should rather expect it later, in Chicago or New York.

To stay competitive, the price of the 2020 Toyota Highlander must not jump for too much. Well, the cut of the four-pot engine will make the Japanese company downgrade V6. Still, the new Highlander will keep the cost under $34,000 which is enough to compete with Nissan Pathfinder or Chevy Traverse.

On the other hand, 2020 Toyota Highlander Hybrid will start at $42,000. That is the similar price for the current model. High-end Platinum versions for both petrol and hybrid model will cost over $50,000.
