There are three trim levels available for the current version of the mid-size SUV. Well, the Black Label is the class for itself, but we still consider it as a part of the lineup. Until the new versions arrive, the base model for the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus will keep offering turbo-four engine and 10-way adjustable front buckets. Plus, the Standard edition comes with synthetic leather for the seats and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto availability. Other notable features for the entry-level model are the power tailgate and the CoPilot360 safety package.
If you are ready to spend $7,500 more, you will get the Reserve package with real leather instead of the synthetic one. Seats are getting heating and ventilation functions. Hands-free system is added for the tailgate and the bundle also brings navigation, Revel sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

While the four-cylinder engine is standard on two previous trims, the 2021 Lincoln Nautilus Black Label uses a twin-turbo V6 with 335 hp. The base drivetrain for the mid-size two-row SUV is a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four. The small displacement stands out with an incredible output of 250 hp and breaks the myth that only V6 can power such a big vehicle. It also adds 280 lb-ft of torque, which is good for 2,000 pounds of towing capacity. Turbochargers make the four-pot unit consume more fuel. With the front-wheel drive, the gas mileage is 21/26 mpg. The all-wheel drive becomes the alternative for the Reserve package, where we can also find a V6 engine.
In this case, a 2.7-l unit is capable to produce 335 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque. Converted to towing capacity, models with this drivetrain can tow 3,500 pounds. Well, the V6 is paired with an all-wheel drive only. An eight-speed transmission is a power router, and both engines require premium gasoline. The start/stop system is useful but sometimes annoying, and drivers can shut it down.
Nautilus vs Aviator
The 2021 Lincoln Nautilus and Aviator are both mid-size models. However, the second one is nearly 10 inches longer, which provides more space for passengers. The company used the extra room to place the third row of seats. Aviator is using a larger V6 drivetrain to get more power. But, the main difference is in the hybrid engine. All-wheel drive will add $2,500, as well as the V6 engine.
